Jalapeño Sage Steak with Cacao Nib Salad
Ingredients for steak:
- 4 oz steak
- indi chocolate Jalapeño Spice Rub
- salt and pepper
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 sprig thyme
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 tbs balsamic vinegar
Ingredients for salad:
Directions for Steak:
- Salt and pepper the steak and rub steak with indi chocolate Jalapeño Spice Rub
- Heat the skillet with 1 tbs butter
- Cook steak for 4 min and flip
- Add remaining butter thyme and rosemary to the top of the steak and cook for another 4 min
- Drizzle balsamic over the steak before removing from the pan.
- Thinly slice the meat
Directions for Salad:
- Toss salad greens, strawberries, hazelnuts, cheese, indi chocolate cacao nibs, balsamic, salt and indi chocolate Jalapeño Spice Rub
- Serve with steak and enjoy!
