indi chocolate Mushroom Quiche with Pacific Spice Rub
Mushroom Arugula Quiche with indi chocolate Pacific Spice Rub
Ingredients:
- 1 pie crust
- 1 cup arugula (Pike Place Market is a Farmer's Market, so pick up this arugula from one of your favorite farmers in the Market)
- 1 cup shiitake mushrooms (nothing says Fall like Mushrooms in Pike Place Market)
- 1/2 cup goat cheese (pick some up from the Creamery in Pike Place Market along with your butter, half and half, and eggs)
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbs butter
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 2 tablespoons indi chocolate Savory Pacific Spice Rub (available in store or online)
- 6 eggs
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Saute mushrooms in a pan
- Press crust into a pan and add mushrooms and arugula
- Beat eggs, cream, indi chocolate Savory Pacific Spice Rub, salt and pepper and add to the pan
- Sprinkle goats cheese on the top
- Bake for 40 to 50 min
