indi chocolate Molé Apple Butter
Ingredients:
- 3 cups unsweetened apple juice
- 4 Tbs indi chocolate Molé Spice Rub
- 1 1/2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 1/2 pounds (7 to 8 medium) Braeburn apples or other tart-sweet apples, unpeeled, quartered, cored, cut into 1-inch chunks (about 12 cups)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- pinch of salt
Directions:
- Bring apple juice, salt and cinnamon to a boil
- Add apples and indi chocolate Molé Spice Rub and turn heat to medium, let cook for about 40 min or until liquid has evaporated
- Transfer apple butter to blender, discard cinnamon and blend
- Melt butter on a skillet until lightly browned and add to the apple butter mixture
