Molé Churros with Chocolate Dipping Sauce

Gather your loved ones together for a dessert that's sure to put a smile on everyone's face! Spice up the sweets by making molé churros with a chocolate dipping sauce. It is often in the shape of a long cylinder and dusted in sugar for a great snack!

Directions:

  1. Combine water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in flour.
  2. Heat oil for frying in deep-fryer or deep skillet. Distribute strips of dough into hot oil using a pastry bag. Fry until golden brown. Place churros onto plate lined with paper towels so oil can drain off. 
  3. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and indi chocolate Molé Cacao Spice Rub. Roll churros in mixture, coating the whole pastry.
  4. Melt 1 bar of 72% dark indi chocolate in a double broiler and pour into a small bowl. 
  5. Serve and enjoy!
