Bourbon Infused Nib Caramel Sauce

Gather around the table folks, it is time for a decadent brunch. This bourbon-nib caramel sauce is a great addition to just about anything, from chocolate cake to coffee. We sliced some fresh pears, sprinkled some walnuts and cacao nibs on top of our pancakes and drizzled this amazing sauce on top.


  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup cacao infused bourbon with cinnamon (if you are confused about what this could possibly be, check out our infusion kits to learn more)
  • Pinch of sea salt


  1. On very low heat brown sugar until it is amber colored and clumping
  2. Add butter and stir together with a wooden spoon or spatula
  3. Add cacao infused bourbon and stir for about 10 min or until the caramel sauce is smooth texture
  4. Sprinkle in salt
  5. Enjoy!
